How it works

SpamMX™ uses a feature of the Domain Name System used to map domain names like interkey.net to IP addresses, a sequence of numbers that form the most basic representation of a computer's location on the internet. This feature, called the "mail exchange" (MX) record, tells a computer sending mail to an address @yourdomain.com which Internet server it should route the mail to.

Instead of pointing the MX record at your mail server, point it to us! Our filtering service will clean the spam from your mail and forward the legitimate mail right back to your mail server. Since the mail is ending up at the same place, you don't have to change a single setting besides this one record, a great time-saver for organizations with dozens or hundreds of employees.
